Calculations Calculate the concentration of Fe(II)in each of the standards (dilution calculation). Construct a Beer s Law plot from the standard data, as described in the introduction to Chapter 5. From the Beer s Law plot or from the Beer’s Law equation for the line, determine the concentration of iron(ll) in each of the diluted unknown solutions. Since the volume and concentration of the diluted unknown solutions are now known, the mass of iron in the diluted unknown solutions can be read ily determined. This diluted unknown solution contained 1.00 mL of the original 10.00 mL (unknown solution) prepared from the tablet. Calculate the mass of Fe(II) in the 10.00 mL unknown solution. This unknown solution was prepared from a weighed subsample of the whole tablet. Calculate the mass of Fe(ll) in the whole tablet.
