Situation
You work with a team that, for the most part, gets along well together. However, whenever your team meets together to work on a project, one team member tends to try and dominate meetings and discussions, putting out her own ideas as the best and dismissing ideas of others as not do-able. Many meetings either have had to be rescheduled since the original purpose was never accomplished or have ended with the dominant team member making all the decisions, while the rest of the group left the meetings grumbling disagreements. Many projects have resulted in only moderate success.

Review the information in chapter 1 about effective meetings and teams. Discuss the situation with three other people.
For each person and yourself, prepare a separate list of the ways you and other team members could make the meetings more effective and handle the dominant team member more effectively.
After you have made the list, in a few sentences comment on the ideas of the three people you talked to. Specifically explain which ideas might work and why, or which ideas might not work and why.
