This paper explains how the internet has impacted on the Graphic Information Design. Graphic design covers an array of fields with its pivot point on creativity. In the fast growing communication system, the internet hit the epitome in the twenty first century. The internet has greatly revolutionized the creative field of graphic design. Traditionally, the scholars and aspiring graphic designers met in a classroom to discuss the concepts, styles, techniques, practices and generally teach the idea of graphic design. However, with the adoption of the internet, a lot has changed. Universities can now share information freely aiding to efficient graphic design training. The research also points out that internet communication has enhanced marketing of graphic designs or art works.
This has been enabled by the formation of advertising and online marketing communities and sites. According to the findings of the research, more graphic designers are opting to use internet communication in enhancing business on the global scale. The main goal of the research is to show how graphic design has developed with the help of the Internet. This may be a benefit if the central concept from art and design theory, the concept of style is employed. The major hindrance of internet communication in enhancing the marketing of graphic designs is the fact that the cost of adopting network systems is high thus unaffordable to many small scale graphic designers.
