education is an important aspect in the modern society

Introduction
education is an important aspect in the modern society. Young people are encouraged to ensure that they get educated with an aim of bettering their future lives (Darlon, 2007). However, it has been noted that adolescent withdrawal from school has become a matter of concern lately. Many young people have chosen to leave school without having completed their educational goals (Hudley & Gottfried, 2008). This education promotion project was meant to discourage the adolescents from withdrawing from school. The adolescents should change their negative attitude towards education and see it as an opportunity for them to ensure that they lay the ground for a better future (Christenbury, 2009). This paper will look at the various issues of the educational promotion project including timeline, cost, funding, evaluation, and ethics.
Timeline
The development of a timeline is critical as it will ensure that the education promotional project is on track. Timeline is particularly important when one is planning an event. They enable the event planners to work backwards from the date when the event has to occur (Kendrick & Project Management Institute, 2010). In this case, the planners are able to provide a schedule for the various activities that have to be accomplished before the project is completed as scheduled. It is important to give team members a reasonable timeframe to complete their parts in the project. This educational promotional project will involve various stakeholders and will take about four months before its completion. The timeline for the whole project can be represented as shown below:

Evaluation
The project’s chief goal is to create awareness among the adolescents about the risk factors associated with school disengagement. The project will also aim at improving the perception that adolescents have on education. It has been noted that many adolescents are disengaged from education (Kristjiana & Sigrun, 2012). This project will encourage the adolescents to adopt a positive attitude towards schooling. This will ensure that the adolescents are willing to get education (Osler, 2008).
This educational project’s main objective is to enhance the achievement of the stipulated goals of the project. One of the objectives is that, when this project will be completed, most adolescents will be engaged in educational activities. The other objective is that, one year after the project, the number of adolescents enrolling in schools will register a considerable increase. In addition, it is expected that the number of adolescents disengaged in education will drastically drop. In the evaluation of these objectives, there was an increase in the number of adolescents engaged in educational activities. This was illustrated by a reduction in the number of those adolescents who were disengaged in education. If this trend continues, it is expected that adolescents enrolling for school will tremendously increase.
The success of the project will be measured in various ways. In the first place, the target audience will be asked questions to evaluate how they rate the project. The adolescents, teachers, parents, and guardians will be asked to register their views on the project (Nata, 2007). This will be captured in a questionnaire form distributed to the target groups. In addition, a review of the whole project will be conducted and a report compiled. The evaluation survey will be done in one week upon completion of the project.
After the completion of the project, a report will be submitted to the sponsors of the project. This report will be open to anyone who would wish to establish a similar or related project in the community. All stakeholders who participated in the project will get a copy of the report (Thomas, 2011).
Ethics
Ethics is a critical consideration in any undertaking. Ethics refer to the principles that standardize behaviour. Ethical standards are known to boost the acceptability of any undertaking by guarding the interests of various stakeholders (Quigley, 2008). In undertaking the educational project, the interests of the sponsors, the community, adolescents, and other stakeholders will be guarded. On the issue of anonymity, the project will ensure that the participants in the project remain anonymous (Dinsmore & Cabanis-Brewin, 2011). The project will also ensure that confidentiality is observed, and no information from the participants will be divulged to any other third party. In addition, participants will not be cheated into taking part in the project. The aims and objectives of the project will be clearly articulated to enable participants make an informed decision regarding the project.
It is also unethical to force participants to take part in any project. In this regard, this project will let the participants make their free choice on whether to participate in the project or not (Kirst-Ashman & Hull, 2012). Therefore, consent forms will be distributed to allow the participants to make informed choices regarding their participation in the project. For children who are under age, their parents and/or guardians will give consent on their behalf. All participants will be assured of their guarded interests while taking part in the project.
Conclusion
This project is set to be accomplished in four months starting from November of this year. Therefore, this project will be finalised in the month of February next year. There are critical aspects to the project including the timeline, cost budget, funding budget, and evaluation of the project outcome. The project is scheduled to take four months. However, the evaluation will continue for a long time after the completion of the project. The project is estimated to cost about $100,000. The main funding for the project will be sourced from three sponsors. Nonetheless, the Rockefeller Foundation will be the main sponsor of the project contributing over 60 per cent of the budget cost. Other sponsors include the government and the Local Community Campaign Funding. Each of these sponsors will contribute 20 per cent of the total budget. In addition, some donations will be considered such as having some venues like schools for free. There are also some stakeholders who will volunteer their services and time for the project.
