i) Undertake a full strategic audit of corporate strategy and then prepare pro-forma statements of one of the companies listed on the major Euro-Stoxx 600 index, including use of key ratios (ROE etc).
For this part of the coursework utilise the spreadsheet model provided in class for preparing your prospective analysis of the company. All assumptions and model inputs will need to be justified.

b) You are an equity analyst considering buying some shares in a company for the portfolio fund that you manage.
Utilising the Nike, Inc Case Study (given in week four) as a reference, you are required to:
i) Discuss the theoretical and practical challenges of estimating the intrinsic value of a stock.
(Hint: You should discuss the challenges of forecasting free cash flows and estimating WACC. Support your argument by referring to the Nike, Inc. case for examples and relevant journal articles)
