Information about my workplace and scenario:
I am a Qualified Kindergarten Teacher. I work in an International Kindergarten in Hong Kong. I teach children aged 3-4 years old. The teachers and children in my school are multi-cultural. I am the class teacher of lower class. I have two assistant teachers working with me in my class. As my teacher assistants are not qualified or trained teachers, I have problems making sure the children are learning effectively. As we are from different cultures, the understanding and communication becomes a problem for me at times. I am currently using a non-directive mode for mentoring them as I would like them to analyse and reflect on their teaching skills and also observe and learn from me. But I feel they are unable to do so and thus the learning and teaching is not so effective in my class. I want to use a more directive approach to make sure they are able to follow the teaching skills and do so efficiently. I would like to know the correct way and methods to do so using the Mentoring approach.
My paper should also focus on the “effective learning for students”, “benefits and disadvantages of non – directive mentoring modes” and “directive mentoring for teaching assistants” and also write a literature review on “Working with teaching assistants”.
Please, check the instructions for this revision:
CONTENT: THE WRITER HAS NOT FOLLOWED OUTLINE REQUEST ON BASING THE PAPER ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE. THE CHANGES MADE
IN THIS PAPER STILL DOES NOT MENTION ABOUT MY EXPERIENCES. IT JUST GIVES A LITERATURE REVIEW ON THE TOPIC. I NEED MY
PAPER OUTLINE TO BE FOLLOWED ACCURATELY!
INSTRUCTIONS NOT FOLLOWED: I HAVE BEEN USING YOUR SERVICES MANY TIMES THESE PAST MONTHS. I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED ON
HOW THE WRITERS APPOINTED NEVER FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OR UNDERSTAND WHAT IS REQUIRED FROM THEM. EITHER THEY DON’T
KNOW WHAT THEY ARE WRITING OR THEY SIMPLY DON’T WANT TO LISTEN OR UNDERSTAND THE CUSTOMER’S POINT OF VIEW. I STRICTLY
ASKED THE WRITER TO WRITE THE PAPER BASED ON MY WORK EXPERIENCE AND THE ISSUES OI AM FACING MENTORING MY TEACHING
ASSISTANTS. BUT THE WRITER ONLY MENTIONED ONE SENTENCE ON HOW I AM TEACHING LOWER KINDERGARTEN. THAT’S IT! THIS PAPER
IS NOT ONLY A LITERATURE REVIEW ON ”HOW TO MENTOR OR COACH A TEACHING ASSISTANT” – IT IS ABOUT WHAT SCENARIO I AM IN MY
SCHOOL – THE DIFFICULTIES FACED BY ME MENTORING OR COACHING THE ASSISTANTS – THE DIRECTIVE AND INDIRECTIVE APPROACH USED
TO MENTOR AND COACH – THE ADVANTAGES OF MENTORING AND COACHING – ALL THESE HAVE TO BE LINKED TO MY EXPERIENCE AND
PROVIDE A VALID REFERENCING WITH PROOF TO AFFIRM THE POINT. IT IS THE WRITER’S JOB TO CONSULT THE CUSTOMER SHOULD THEY
HAVE ANY QUERIES IN WRITING THE PAPER! NOT TO JUST WASTE THE CUSTOMER’S TIME TO KEEP CORRECTING THEIR MISTAKES! I WANT
TO CHANGE A WRITER AND WANT TO MAKE SURE THE NEW WRITER READS MY ’PAPER OUTLINE’ AND IS IN TOUCH WITH ME CONSTANTLY!
