4. Create a written procedure for any one of the three processes or sub- process identified in part 3 of
this assignment (as it is really performed, rather than as you or your organisation think it ought to be
performed). The information should be of an adequate level for the people who perform the tasks to
follow (ie don’t produce just a higher level management overview). The format, set-out and structure of
your written procedure should be the same as is shown in the two Humanities International Office
example generic written procedures issued with this assignment. But, in addition, at the start of your
procedure add a concise explanation of why the process or sub-process is important and give a short
explanation of its purpose. (As a guide, I am looking for processes or sub-processes that comprise
about 5 to 7 steps, with each step including a number of separate tasks, ie similar in size to the larger
of the two Humanities International Office written procedures that are handed out with this

If you are currently working full-time (or part-time) in your discipline area, this assignment is intended to
relate to your current work organisation. If you are a full-time student, you can base your assignment
on the last organisation for which you worked in your discipline area, or, alternatively, you can use an
organisation for which you might currently do part-time work, including sporting clubs or voluntary
groups.

The first page of your assignment must be a contents page – page numbers must be included for all
entries. Use the following throughout your assignment (though you can vary the margins, font and size
and line spacing where appropriate for information included in appendices): ? 2.5cm margins on all four

alone documents, so it doesn’t suit to have them in the main body of your assignment (this is why it is
okay to vary the margins, font and line spacing in these documents). So in the main body of your
assignment for sections 1 and 4, I would anticipate seeing the heading and a note under it directing me
to the appropriate appendix that contains your work.
