Individual Presentation: 30% of the overall module grade
It is anticipated that you will strive to deliver a meaningful presentation characterised by breadth and depth of contents, in line with the level of this qualification, using power point equipment. All candidates are expected to use a variety of visual aids and handouts in their delivery, be professional in their approach, and deliver a presentation in a manner and at a pace that the audience will be able to follow and appreciate.
At the end of the presentation, you should also expect to respond to a variety of questions. Each presenter has 20 minutes to deliver their presentation. In addition, 5-10 minutes will also be allocated for relevant questions and answers.
Your presentation will need to be characterised by relevant analysis and critical evaluation, have consolidated on appropriate theories and indicate application abilities in a context.
In particular, you are required to present a significant academic article selected from a blind refereed journal in your field of interest (in agreement with the tutor) and evaluate the suitability of the research design employed by that article in relation to the syllabus of the module.
