I have great interest in business and economics and I am always interested in learning more and keeping abreast with any business update. Royal Road University provides me with a potential opportunity not only to be part of the dynamic worldwide environment, but also be the force behind it. I would like to join and take a course in Entrepreneurial Management. The program will start September 17, 2012. I would like to sharpen my communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills through the curriculum offered by the university. To tap my potential to the fullest and become a successful innovator who will greatly benefit my community and be a positive influence to the environment I will be in.
Qualifications
I chose the business field because it is one I am well familiar with and that I have a passionate interest for. I would like to succeed in the business environment and at the same time remain relevant to the changing times. That is why Entrepreneurial Management is the course for me.
I have done English for Academic Purpose in the university of Northern British Columbia, Prince George, BC, Canada in 2009-2010 and a Bachelors Degree in General Business in the same university in 2010-2012 where I earned 40 credits.
I also took computer packages, which are very relevant in the current business world, while still in high school and stated my entrepreneur career in internet technology there as well. Became a entrepreneur there too. I later developed my entrepreneurship by venturing into the export and import trade later in 2006.
On completion of my college degree, I was employed as a manager in the Yawan company in Saudi Arabia., in 2001-2004where I perfected my managerial skills. I contributed a column in the Walat Alsahib magazine in 2002 on internet technology.
I have also done voluntary work, am well versed with the stock market, and international trade too.
Background
I have sufficient experience in entrepreneurship as my interest in the subject was well grounded right from the start. I also have very valuable computer skills needed for success in the field. I come from Saudi Arabia, a community I have served with diligence and intend to increase in service upon accruing of my skills and knowledge.
Conclusion
Learning the entrepreneur skills in this university will be a great honor to me, a great service to the people I left behind as the skills I acquire will be used for their good, not to mention help me achieve self-actualization.
