•Personal Connection. This section focuses on your own thoughts and responses to Othello.

For the Literature Connection section in your scrapbook entry, you will identify the literary device of irony as presented in this module and reflect on how irony is used in Othello.
The Modern Connection
For the Modern Connection section in your scrapbook entry, you are drawing on the knowledge you already have about contemporary texts to help you interpret and analyze Shakespeare’s use of irony in comparison to a contemporary work.
In two to three paragraphs:
•Choose a passage that illustrates irony to analyze in Othello.
