When you explore your themes in your findings section, it would also be nice to refer back to you map on occasion too. Your thematic map can be hand drawn too, but make sure it is professional looking, and remember only use colour if necessary for interpretive purposes. The APA 6th Edition style guide has rules about the unnecessary use of colour figures, so it is good practice to try and keep things simple.
4. Your annotated transcripts do not need to be tidy, nor do you need to submit these to Turnitin. Rather, they serve the purpose of allowing your marker to refer to your analysis if we are perplexed or fascinated by something you have raised in your assessment. Sometimes it can be struggle to code content in one column and the more analytical codes in another ? just do what works for you. Analysis and coding (whether topic or analytical coding) can be an iterative process too.
