They are not looking for a summary of the film’s plot, we have to use some criteria from the six categories: photography, miss en scene, movement, editing, sound, and acting. We have to BOLD or underline characteristics of the film based on materials from the course (the vocabulary list will be provided so you can work some of the terminologies into the paper), such as specific editing techniques or styles, types of shots, etc. The characteristics must support why the film belongs on my list. I have to CLEARLY explain in detail why each film belongs in such a lofty position of top ten. The breakdown of grading will be: 40 points for annotation, 15 points for Display (I’ll be taking the paper and creating a scrapbook with pages for the 10 films so you don’t need to worry about that), Presentation 5 points, for a total possible 60 points.
