Lab title: Embryo Cryo Practical Write Up
IVF, Embryo Culture plus Cryopreservation Practical Report;
In this practical report, you will discuss all the relevant practical aspects that you carried out mainly (1) sperm preparation methods, (2) insemination methods and (3) cryopreservation of embryos, and how you can troubleshoot the methods using knowledge from the published literature to improve the motile sperm preparation for insemination, fertilisation rate, survival rate or ultimately clinical outcome.

In insemination methods, what should I include? is it important to include the equation for calculation the required amount of sperm to be added in each drop??
IVF, discuss method used if relevant to fertilisation or clinical outcome
In cryopreservation, should I include the name of product and solutions and their amount in each well and timing as well?
You can include brand name if important in context you are discussing it.
Regarding troubleshooting, which exactly should we discuss about? I need more clarification here.
Reflecting on all the steps you made in the practical, which steps are important or more important in terms of effects on clinical outcome. If fertilisation fail, what do you do for example?
Regarding results section, should only I include my results for sperm preparation or for both groups? In both cases, what we have to look for in results section?
Discuss as group result will be easier for you.
In methods section, Is is necessary to be referenced or we can write as we did them in the lab without references?
i gave you the methods you used so what will you reference? You can summarise methods used in main text of methods and refer to details in appendix to save on words space.

In method there are 3 components
(1) sperm preparation methods
(2) insemination methods
(3) cryopreservation of embryos
You will mention the temperature control and the diameter because these specific test can affect the survival rate of embryo , if you affect the survival embryo in cryopreservation that mean you affect the clinical outcome .
in terms of the sperm result , its 2 section for bouth groups and just want to comment little bet on sperm preparation methods , in terms of experience and efficiency and so on but not spent too much in this part .
note: each student have 4 mouse embryo to work with and during the lab I lost 2 embryo and the last day when we check the survival blastocyst.
*my result is ( first embryo its hatched blastocyst and the second one its blastocyst grade 3BB (inner cell mass its B and the trephectodorm its B and the expansion is 3)
