Our position graph was similar, but opposite of the actual graph.
Our velocity graph was not similar to actual graph.
We had to adjust the time for the model in order to capture the whole graph.

Our V shaped position graph was the opposite shape (^) based on the experience of using the cardboard starting close to the computerized motion detector to generate a V using the motion detector cardboard.
Our carrat shaped velocity graph predicted a rise as velocity increased until it reached the end. Then a decrease in velocity on the way down.
Our velocity graph was not similar. The actual graph quickly gained negative velocity going toward the motion detector, and then steadily gained velocity until reaching the end, where it experienced a second “rebound” burst of negative velocity.

I learned something about velocity and how it looks on a graph. I expected velocity to behave differently than it did.
I learned that the position graph is an approximation of total distance from the detector (y) in time (x).
