Assignment – Problem based case studies – group discussions and presentation
Task description – Analyse and provide solutions to persistent problems / issues from student’s shipboard experience.
Task length – Individual presentation and 30 minutes each of participation with other groups.
Assessment criteria / guidelines – Every student is actively required to participate and provide a chance for other participants to contribute. Research and peer learning will be an essential and integral part of the process. Team working skills will reflect on your task, activities and assessment. The unit co-ordinator will monitor the discussion without interfering with the group, but may provide guidance if required.
Assessment will be based on a 30 minute presentation from the group, including electronic presentation of relevant diagrams, photos research points etc. The summary report shall reflect your research work; understanding of the topics covered; your own work related learning experiences and learning experience from the group. Report word limit of 1000 words with associated diagrams, photographs etc.

Group Task

hard copy or email the soft copy before the due date.
